We would just like to re-assure our readers, that this blog was set up to reflect a fairer and more positive attitude towards Swedish Rugby. Of course we sometimes write with a sense of humour in our posts, which hopefully does not upset anyone. As we stated at the onset of this blog, we will react to information and topics from other blogs if we feel it is in the best interest of the game. As far as we are concerned we try to think that all of our readers will have opinions and some may wish to publish them. We gladly welcome them, even if they may criticise us, oh and in case you are interested there are a few of us who write this blog, but we decided to keep just the one psuedonym, which is Heineken, as we do not want to publicise ourselves, after all it's the game in Sweden that is important, is it not? Many thanks to teamswedenrugby for the free advertising, as you can see, we are nothing but generous, so we have returned the favour.

ReplyDeleteOn Neil'a Blog, one can make an assessment of bias or lack of neutrality. We know who he is and where his interests lie. We can allow for his personal bias.
ReplyDeleteHere though we cannot do that. You may want to remain anonymous and that is your perogative but it reduces the value of the information that you broadcast. Can you make a statement about your core values and interests and maybe a potted rugby history so that when we read posts we will have some idea of the inbuilt lean of the views espoused. No one is unbiased.
Thank you Anonymous. Your view is that if you remain anonymous, it reduces the value of any information. We however have a different viewpoint and would not devalue the comment you have posted. As for being unbiased? We try to give a review of topics in a neutral way, if others see it differently, there is nothing we can do about it.

Come on, front up. You don't have to give names. Core values, interests and a potted rugby history will do. Why not? What's to fear?
Ok, you asked for it. Readers can be assured that we are neutral but as a group of hermaphrodites you wouldn't expect us to be anything else, would you? Core values, well we have never been asked to work out the value of a core, but it's probably worth a pip or two. Potted history, well we can honestly state that we don't do drugs unless you call being addicted to rugby the same thing. Defensive, not at all, but you know, it's sometimes better if you don't know. Hope that puts your mind at ease.
